Dear Body,

I am here to love you.
I dedicate this time to be in deeper communication with you.
I seek your friendship, even though you may not trust me because I have treated you unconsciously.
I have come here to be more attentive to you now.
As I move into yoga, I bring the light of consciouosness to the places where I may encounter discomfort or fear.
This is my way of releasing dis-at-ease from my body and mind.
I respect you, I love you, I'm grateful for you.

When you change the way you look at things,
The things you look at change.

As within, so without.

Practice being satisfied.

Create the Space

Yoga is exercise for creating spiritulal fitness. Ultimately, recovery is a spiritual program. Becoming spiritually fit requires action.

Yoga is a moving meditation, an ancient system for creating conscious contact with a Higher Power.

Yoga is learning to move into stillness. We begin by creating a pause, a space... between having an idea and acting upon it. This space is the separation between thought and impulse. It is in the space that change becomes possible. This is the beginning of recovery. 

Experience the serenity that comes from surrender.

One day at time,
